Achievement Academy is a college preparatory public middle school that opened in the fall of 2005.  The basic features of the Achievement Academy school program include:

• Small School:  In our first year, we will enroll 75 students in grade 5.  After 4 years, our maximum enrollment to be 300 students in grades 5-8.
• More Time:  Our school day begins at 7:30am and ends at 5:00pm with additional tutoring available.  The school year will be 210 days.
• Character Education:  All students and faculty must live by our REACH values - Respect, Enthusiasm, Achievement, Citizenship, and Hard Work.
• Rigorous Curriculum:  All students master core skills and knowledge with a particular focus in math, reading, and writing.
• Uniforms:  Uniforms are required for all students.
• Frequent Assessments:  Teachers assess student performance every six weeks.
