Bronx Charter School for Excellence

First Notice – The SUNY Trustees have received the following renewal requests:

Bronx Charter School for Excellence, an education corporation with the authority to operate more than one school, seeks to renew its charter for five years as well as its authority to operate the following schools:

  • Bronx Charter School for Excellence is located at 1952-60 Benedict Ave, Bronx, NY 10462, in Community School District 11, and is chartered to serve 810 students in grades K-8.  The school seeks a 5-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024.  According to the renewal application, the school seeks to serve 810 students in grades K-8.
  • Bronx Charter School for Excellence 2 is located at 1744 Williamsbridge Rd, Bronx, NY 10461 and 1804 Holland Ave, Bronx, NY 10462, in Community School District 11, and is chartered to serve 540 students in grades K-8.  The school seeks a 3-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2026.  According to the renewal application, the school seeks to serve 540 students in grades K-8.
  • Bronx Charter School for Excellence 3 is located at 1160 East 213th St, Bronx, NY 10469 and 3956 Carpenter Ave, Bronx, NY 10466, in Community School District 11, and is chartered to serve 570 students in grades K-7.  The school seeks a 5-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024.  According to the renewal application, the school seeks to serve 540 students in grades K-8.
  • Bronx Charter School for Excellence 4 is located at 1160 East 213th St, Bronx, NY 10469 and 4300 Murdock Ave, Bronx, NY 10466, in Community School District 11, and is chartered to serve 420 students in grades K-6.  The school seeks a 5-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024.  According to the renewal application, the school seeks to serve 540 students in grades K-8.
  • Bronx Charter School for Excellence 5 is located at 1946 Bathgate Ave, Bronx, NY 10457, in Community School District 9, and is chartered to serve 360 students in grades K-5.  The school seeks a 5-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024.  According to the renewal application, the school seeks to serve 540 students in grades K-8.
