First Notice – The SUNY Trustees have received the following renewal requests:

Explore Charter Schools of Brooklyn, an education corporation with the authority to operate more than one school, seeks to renew its charter for five years as well as its authority to operate the following schools:

• Explore Charter School is located at 655 Parkside Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11266, in Community School District 17, and is chartered to serve 540 students in grades K-8.  The school seeks a 5-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024.  According to the renewal application, the school seeks to serve 532 students in grades K-8.
• Explore Excel Charter School is located at 1077 Remsen Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11236 and 956 East 82nd St, Brooklyn, NY 11236, in Community School District 18, and is chartered to serve 564 students in grades K-8.  The school seeks a 5-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024.  According to the renewal application, the school seeks to serve 564 students in grades K-8.
