The Academy Charter School – Wyandanch

Second Notice – The SUNY Trustees have approved the following charter revision.

The Academy Charter School – Wyandanch is located at 244-248 Long Island Avenue, Wyandanch, NY 11798 in the Wyandanch Union Free School District and is chartered to serve 249 students in grades K-3 for the 2023-24 school year growing to serve 475 students in grades K-6 by the 2026-27 school year, the final year of the current charter term.  The school requested an enrollment revision to add a middle school program beginning in the 2024-25 school year with 95 students in grade 6 growing to serve 798 students in grades K-8 by the 2026-27 school year.  The SUNY Charter Schools Institute, as the SUNY Trustees’ designee: 1) received the revision application on or about February 15, 2024, and 2) approved the revision on July 23, 2024.
