Final Notice – The following charter renewal has been approved by operation of law.
Academy of the City Charter School is located at 23-40 Astoria Blvd, Astoria, NY 11102 and 31-29 60th St, Woodside, NY 11377 in Community School District (“CSD”) 30 and chartered to serve 728 students in grades K-8. The school sought a five-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024. According to the renewal application, the school will grow to serve 735 students in grades K-8.
The SUNY Trustees: 1) received the renewal application on or about August 15, 2023, 2) approved the renewal on December 13, 2023, and 3) the renewal was approved by operation of law on or about April 17, 2024.
