Explore Charter Schools of Brooklyn is an education corporation with the authority to operate more than one charter school, including Explore Enrich Charter School approved to be located in CSD 17 or 18. Minisink Charter School, originally approved by the SUNY Trustees in March of 2019, was considered to take over authority to operate Explore Enrich Charter School. As originally approved in 2019, Minisink Charter School will relocate the school to CSD 5. The school will serve 72 students in grades K-1 for the 2025-26 school year and grow to serve 216 students in grades K-5 by the 2029-30 school year, the final year of the charter term. Minisink Charter School will partner with New York City Mission Society.
