Final Notice – The following charter revision has been approved by operation of law.

• New Visions Charter High School for Advanced Math and Science and New Visions Charter High School for the Humanities contracted with New Visions for Public Schools, Inc., a New York not-for-profit corporation, to manage certain business and academic-related services.  The education corporations requested to cease their relationship with New Visions for Public Schools, Inc., effective June 30, 2024 and transition all applicable responsibilities to an internal shared services team.  New Visions Charter High School for Advanced Math and Science requested to be renamed “United Charter High School for Advanced Math and Science” and New Visions Charter High School for the Humanities requested to be renamed “United Charter High School for the Humanities.”  The SUNY Charter Schools Institute, as the SUNY Trustees’ designee: 1) received the revision application on or about December 15, 2023, 2) approved the revision on July 11, 2024, and 3) the revision was approved by operation of law on or about October 10, 2024.

Second Notice – The SUNY Trustees have approved the following revision application.

• Academic Leadership Charter School, located at 677 East 141st Street, Bronx, NY 10454 and 470 Jackson Avenue, Bronx NY 10455 in Community School District (“CSD”) 7, is chartered to serve 931 students in grades K-8 by the 2027-28 school year, the final year of the current charter term.  The school requested an expansion to add a high school program starting in the 2024-25 school year serving 412 students in grades K-8 and growing to serve 592 students in grades K-12 by the 2027-28 school year.  The SUNY Trustees: 1) received the application on or around August 20, 2024, and 2) approved the application on October 9, 2024.

First Notice – The SUNY Trustees have received the following revision application:

Brilla College Preparatory Charter Schools, an education corporation with the authority to operate more than one charter school, requests a revision to its overall admissions policy adding an at-risk preference for students whose school has closed in the previous school year or has announced closure within or after the current school year.

Public Prep Charter School Academies, an education corporation with the authority to operate more than one charter school, requests the following enrollment revision:

• • Girls Preparatory Charter School of the Bronx II located at 263 East 203^rd Street, Bronx, NY 10458 in Community School District 10, is chartered to serve 361 students in grades K-8 for the 2024-25 school year, the last year of the current charter term. The school requests an enrollment increase to serve 510 students in grades K-8 for the 2024-25 school year.

Success Academy Charter Schools – NYC, an education corporation with the authority to operate more than one charter school, requests the following enrollment revision:

• Success Academy Charter School – NYC 5, located at 760 Gun Hill Road, Bronx, NY 10467 in Community School District 11, is chartered to serve 50 students in grade K for the 2024-25 school year through 2028-29 school year, the last year of the current charter term.  The school requests an enrollment increase to serve 120 students in grade K for the 2024-25 through 2028-29 school years.
