The school sought a three-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2026. According to the renewal application, the school will be decreasing to serve 862 students in grades 3-12.

Brooklyn Ascend Charter School is located at 205 Rockaway Parkway, Brooklyn, NY, 123 East 98th Street, Brooklyn, NY, and 1501 Pitkin Avenue, Brooklyn, NY in CSDs 18, 17, and 23, respectively, and is chartered to serve 1,395 students in grades K-12 growing to serve 1,448 students in grades K-12 by the 2028-29 school year, the final year of the current charter term.
