Henry Johnson Charter School

Final Notice – The following charter renewal has been approved by operation of law.

• Henry Johnson Charter School is located at 30 Watervliet Ave, Albany, NY 12206 and chartered to serve 360 students in grades K-4 for the 2024-25 school year, the final year of the current charter term.  The school sought a five-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2025.  According to the renewal application, the school will grow to serve 652 students in grades K-8.  The SUNY Trustees: 1) received the renewal application on or about March 15, 2024, 2) approved the renewal application on October 9, 2024, and 3) the renewal application was approved by operation of law on or about April 22, 2025.
