First Notice – The SUNY Trustees have received the following revision application:
KIPP Capital Region Public Charter School, an education corporation with the authority to operate more than one charter school, has requested the following charter revision:
- KIPP Troy Prep Charter School, currently located at 2 Polk Street and 3055 6th Avenue, Troy, New York, 12180 in the Troy City School District, is chartered to serve 743 students in grades K-12 for the 2024-25 school year and growing to serve 1,358 students in grades K-12 by the 2028-29 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school requests a charter revision to relocate its high school to a new facility in the City School District of Albany.
The SUNY Trustees, or their designees, the SUNY Charter Schools Committee, anticipate consideration of this application as early as May 20, 2025.
