New Visions Charter High School for Advanced Math and Science and New Visions Charter High School for the Humanities

First Notice – The SUNY Trustees have received the following revision application:

New Visions Charter High School for Advanced Math and Science and New Visions Charter High School for the Humanities, two separate charter school education corporations authorized by SUNY, both located at 99 Terrace View Avenue, Bronx, NY 10463 in CSD 10, seek to merge with New Visions Charter Schools, New Visions Charter High School for Advanced Math and Science II, and New Visions Charter High School for the Humanities II, each a charter school education corporation authorized by the New York State Board of Regents (“Board of Regents”), currently operating five charter schools, including New Visions Charter High School for Advanced Math and Science II, III, and IV; and New Visions Charter High School for Humanities II and IV, located at 3000 Avenue X, Brooklyn, NY 11234 in CSD 22; 900 Tinton Avenue, Bronx, NY 10456 in CSD 8; 156-10 Baisley Boulevard, Queens, NY 11434 in CSD 27; and 100-00 Beach Channel Drive, Queens, NY 11694 in CSD 27, such that when the merger is approved, New Visions Charter Schools would be the successor education corporation under the proposed name “United Charter High Schools.”

The SUNY Trustees, or their designees, the SUNY Charter Schools Committee, anticipate consideration of this application as early as January 30, 2024.
