Nurses Middle College Charter High School – Capital Region

Final Notice – The following charter revision has been approved by operation of law.

• Nurses Middle College Charter High School – Capital Region, originally approved to be located in the Albany City School District, requested to temporarily incubate in the Rensselaer City School District for a period not to exceed two years while facility acquisition and construction are completed within the Albany City School District.  The school is currently located at 199 Washington Street, Rensselaer, New York 12144 in the Rensselaer City School District and chartered to serve 130 students in grade 9 for the 2023-24 school year growing to serve 500 students in grades 9-12 by the 2027-28 school year, the final year of the current charter term.

The SUNY Charter Schools Institute, as the SUNY Trustees’ designee: 1) received the revision application on or about June 16, 2023, 2) approved the revision on August 8, 2023, and 3) the revision was approved by operation of law on or about April 18, 2024.
